1. About UTSARIKA
UTSARIKA is an Indian clothing brand built on the belief that skilled women deserve a stage for their talent. We are a platform that brings together women artisans, emerging designers and conscious customers. Our products are handcrafted and may carry the natural variations that come with artisan-made garments. These variations are a mark of authenticity, not a defect.
2. Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use this website in any way that causes or may cause damage to the website or impairment of its availability. You also agree not to copy, reproduce or distribute any content from this website without our written permission.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to display our products accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different on your screen depending on your device settings. All measurements provided in our size chart are approximate and are based on Indian standard sizing. We recommend measuring yourself carefully before placing an order.
As our garments are handcrafted, there may be minor variations of up to one inch in measurements from piece to piece. This is inherent to the handmade nature of our products and cannot be treated as a manufacturing defect.
4. Pricing
All prices on our website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price at the time of placing your order will be the price that applies to your purchase. We reserve the right to cancel any order where a pricing error has occurred.
5. Orders and Payment
When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the product. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. You will receive an order confirmation by email once your order has been accepted.
We accept payment via UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, and cash on delivery where available. All online payments are processed through Razorpay, a secure and certified payment gateway. UTSARIKA does not store any payment card information.
6. Custom Orders
Custom size orders are made specifically for you based on the measurements you provide. Custom orders are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless there is a manufacturing defect on our part. Please ensure your measurements are accurate before placing a custom order. We are happy to assist you with measurements over WhatsApp before you place your order.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, designs and graphics, is the intellectual property of UTSARIKA. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without our explicit written permission.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We collect only the information necessary to process your order and provide you with a good shopping experience. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfil your order (for example, sharing your address with our delivery partner).
9. Limitation of Liability
UTSARIKA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from the purchase of our products. Our liability in any situation shall not exceed the value of the product purchased.

Return and Refund Policy

At UTSARIKA, every garment is made with genuine care. If something is not right with your order, we want to make it right. Our return policy is designed to be simple, fair and human. Please read it carefully so you know exactly what to expect.
Our 7-Day Return Window
We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags attached. Items that show signs of wear, washing or alteration will not be accepted for return.
What Can Be Returned
- Items with a manufacturing defect — wrong stitching, fabric damage, broken zip or button
- Items delivered in the wrong size or colour from what was ordered
- Items that are significantly different from the product description
- Items damaged during delivery
What Cannot Be Returned
- Custom size orders made to your specific measurements
- Items that have been worn, washed or altered
- Items returned after 7 days of delivery
- Sale items marked as final sale at the time of purchase
- Items without original tags and packaging
- Minor colour variations due to screen display settings — these are not defects
- Minor measurement variations of up to one inch — these are natural in handcrafted garments
How to Initiate a Return
Returning an item with us is simple. Please follow these steps:

Contact Us Within 7 Days
Send us a WhatsApp message or email within 7 days of receiving your order. Share your order number and the reason for the return along with clear photographs of the item.

Wait for Our Confirmation
Our team will review your request within 24 to 48 working hours and confirm whether your return is approved. We may ask for additional photographs if needed.

Ship the Item Back
Once approved, pack the item securely in its original packaging with all tags intact. Ship it to the address we provide. Please use a trackable shipping service and share the tracking details with us.

Receive Your Refund or Exchange
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5 to 7 working days.
Refund Process
Refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5 to 7 working days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Bank processing times may vary.
For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer. Please share your bank account details when initiating your return.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchange Policy
We are happy to offer an exchange for a different size of the same product, subject to availability. If the size you need is not available, we will process a full refund instead.
For exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges. We will cover the shipping charges for sending the exchanged item back to you.
Shipping Charges for Returns
If the return is due to a defect or an error on our part, we will cover the return shipping charges in full.
If the return is for any other reason such as change of mind or size issues where the correct size was delivered, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged item or an item different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you. This is our promise.
Out of Stock Situations
If an item you ordered goes out of stock after your payment is processed, we will contact you immediately. You will have the option to wait for restocking, choose an alternative product, or receive a full refund.
